ImpactRO
The WaterSurplus ImpactRO is a steady-state, high recovery reverse osmosis (RO) platform engineered to maintain stable permeate quality under variable feedwater conditions. It is available in 40 GPM to 900 GPM skids. In operational environments, ImpactRO is designed to support recoveries that approach the upper limits of RO process feasibility, while reducing fouling-related interventions and unplanned downtime by as much as 75%. The resulting reduction in chemical cleanings and hydraulic stress can extend membrane service life by up to a factor of two, contributing to improved reliability and lower lifecycle operating costs. Intelligent Interventions: NanoStack Coated Membranes NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified hydrophilic coating provides exceptional resistance to scaling and fouling while enhancing cleanability, permeate quality, and long-term membrane durability, and can be applied to any polymeric membrane element. (See separate datasheet.) NanoScope Direct Membrane Monitor High-resolution performance monitoring with predictive analytics enables operators to track RO performance at previously imperceptible levels to predict, prevent, and reverse membrane fouling. Feed-Forward Design Advanced flow balancing distributes flux more evenly across all RO stages—reducing first-stage fouling and third-stage scaling—to support higher recovery and electrical efficiency. Micro-Disruptions Intermittent bursts of water that clean membranes online during operation by disrupting the concentration polarization layer in the third stage. Intermittent Variable Recovery Dynamic recovery control adjusts system recovery in response to changing feedwater conditions, optimizing performance over time and reducing the risk of major fouling events. Single-Point Parallel CIP Simplified offline cleaning allows the operator to clean all stages of the RO at once or to clean each stage independently.

NanoStack Coated Membrane Elements
NanoStack Coated Membrane Elements are a family of low-fouling RO elements incorporating an NSF/ANSI/CAN 61-certified, bio-inspired surface modification that exhibits superior hydrophilic properties. The result is a reduction in foulant adhesion, allowing the normal cross-flow velocity of the feed water to sweep unwanted contaminants more easily to drain. nanoStack's active membrane surface area resists irreversible fouling, achieving full flux recovery during normal operation or after offline cleaning. NanoStack chemistry can be applied to any polymeric element or module.

OxiPlus12
OxiPlus12™ is an NSF/ANSI/CAN-61 certified catalytic media used to remove soluble iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, arsenic, and radium from groundwater. The media consists of a silica sand core coated with manganese dioxide (MnO2). The combination allows the media to catalyze the oxidation-reduction reaction of iron and manganese while tolerating water that is low in silica, TDS, and hardness without breaking down. OxiPlus12 is an ideal choice for retrofitting existing sand/anthracite and greensand filtration systems. OxiPlus12 is manufactured with a minimum 12% MnO2 coating vs 4.5-5% for competitive products. This results in longer run times between backwashing events, thus reducing system downtime and water to drain. Additionally, OxiPlus12 is produced in a mesh size of 18x45 rather than 18x60, significantly reducing the quantity of media sent to drain during the initial start-up of the system.

OxiPlus75
OxiPlus75™ is a highly effective media for the removal of iron, manganese, arsenic, radium and hydrogen sulfide. This robust filter media has proven highly successful in municipal and industrial pretreatment applications where manganese is in the water. These catalytic particles allow for higher flow rates, smaller filters, and economical treatment systems. OxiPlus75 works best for new filtration applications based on its high bulk density. For media replacement/retrofits, consider OxiPlus12. Reduced system footprint sizes due to the catalytic properties of OxiPlus75 allow for high filter loading rates while maintaining high treatment efficiency. High volume backwash rates result in reduction in total backwash volumes as compared to standard sand-anthracite or greensand applications. OxiPlus75 is NSF/ANSI/CAN-61 Certified and highly effective in drinking water applications. Long media life allows for economical water treatment operation. When used with an oxidant such as sodium hypochlorite, longterm performance and capability of the media is maintained.

SandPlus
SandPlus™ is a high flow rate filter media with improved filtration performance when compared to other media. The hardness, stability, uniformity and microporous characteristics all help the media perform well in both water and wastewater applications. While most filtration media filters down to 8–15 micron nominal size, SandPlus can filter down to 3–5 micron particle removal. SandPlus can be used for industrial applications like cooling tower turbidity removal or pretreatment prior to reverse osmosis. It can be used in gravity or pressure filters with lower pressure drops and improved filtration performance. It can also be used in potable and irrigation applications or in storm water or wastewater reuse applications.
