The Flanders Blend is designed based on several Belgian sour beer styles: Flanders Red, Lambic, and Oud Bruin. It is vinegar-forward and different from many other sour styles. It makes for an excellent addition to meals and tends to complement a rich meal.
Flanders Souring Blend is a mixture of organic acids that replicates the sour profile developed by the microbiological souring agents. Hawkins then uses its proprietary technology to remove off notes in flavor.
